Explore Landscapes #39: It's 10 years (almost to the day) since we left Hamburg and moved to Southern California. This milestone had me reminiscing so I thought I'd share some images from Hamburg.
Great commemorative set from Hamburg, a city I’ve only visited a few times but that I delight in re-acquainting myself with each time. I really like the vibe you captured, it gels with my own impressions of your former home.
We also spent 18 months living SW of Munich … in a little place called Herrsching am Ammersee. While it was a beautiful region we never felt as much at home as we did in Hamburg.
Interesting. But I am the same. Couldn’t imagine living in southern Germany. I would miss the sea. I prefer the flat lands over the mountains as well. Happy you enjoyed staying in my hometown! ☺️

I love Germany. My favorite places are in the southern mountain region, near Austria. Thank you for sharing.

We loved our time in Hamburg - and have many happy memories. Your home town is a wonderful, vibrant and cosmopolitan city with so much to see and do.
